Infrastructure

Founded in 1939, White River Valley Electric Cooperative (WRVEC) is a member-owned electric utility. Today, WRVEC's service area covers 2,400 square miles in five counties. In addition, WRVEC have over 46,000 services in place, nearly 5,000 miles of energized line and 2006 revenues of $46 million. I is that financial strength that allows WRVEC to provide new services to members at competitive rates.

WRVEC will provide highly reliable service to the new Branson Commerce Park. Larger tenants may be eligible for one of WRVEC's economic development programs. As an added benefit, WRVEC will offer an energy audit prior to construction, which will identify the most advanced and appropriate energy technologies as well as onsite stand-by generators to businesses that will use over 200 kW per month.
